Welcome to the Holy Cross High School web site. We hope that this site proves to be an interesting and informative introduction to Holy Cross. The many opportunities available to Holy Cross students are represented by the pictures, descriptions, and links in this site. We hope that this homepage provides you with a glimpse into the dynamic life of our school, and encourages you to contact our school to arrange a visit or attend an event.

HCHS seeks to introduce students to the many avenues that life presents to them in a vibrant, faith-filled, Catholic community, which is part of the Catholic School System in the Diocese of Scranton. Rich in tradition, diverse in population and experiences, and directed by a dedicated faculty and staff, Holy Cross seeks to challenge students throughout all its academic and extracurricular programs. As a college-preparatory school, we insist that students enroll in courses that will develop their intellectual skills and provide them with the rigor required of collegiate life in the context of a learning community.

Beyond the walls of the classroom, Holy Cross’ life grows in many directions. From stage to field, from court to student government meeting, from retreat to service project, students learn about each other and about life’s complexities in multiple ways.
