Welcome to the Home of the Crusaders

In their quest for excellence, students learn well that winning or losing is closely related to life experiences. For this reason, coaches instill in these athletes the qualities of leadership, teamwork, responsibility and discipline. The Sports Program also generates a strong sense of loyalty not only among team members, but also within the student body.Holy Cross High School is a member of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and participates in league play as part of the Lackawanna Interscholastic Athletic Association (LIAA).Holy Cross offers the following sports:

  • Cheerleading (co-ed)
  • Cross Country (boys and girls)
  • Football
  • Golf (boys and girls)

All students participating in an organized sports team must complete the PIAA Physical Form with their doctor.

This plan is preliminary; as more public health information is available from the local, state and national agencies, the administration may work with applicable entities to release further guidance which could impact fall, winter, or spring seasons.
