Tuition Assistance Available
Dear Holy Cross Community,
I hope this letter finds everyone well and safe. As we all know, we are all living through unique and unsettling times, watching news and media reports, hoping for something that we can learn about to have some bit of certitude. With all that being said, The Diocese of Scranton and Catholic Schools' Office has put together an updated registration/re-registration package for our families to try and ease some of the burden. The bullet points below will explain the details:
·All families will receive the lower tuition rate for the 2020-2021 school year.
·Because of the closure of our school buildings, we are extending the registration deadline to April 14.
·If you register between now and April 14, we will waive your $100 registration fee. Registrations received after April 14 will be billed the $100 fee.
·If you have already registered and paid the $100 fee, you will receive a credit to your 2020-2021 tuition.
·To register, you should have received an email with a link for online registration. If you did not receive this information or no longer have it, please contact the Mr. Tolerico (email@example.com) AND Mrs. Liuzzo (firstname.lastname@example.org) via email.
·Families with tuition accounts not in good standing will be notified after they register that their registrations are not accepted until their account is brought into good standing.
·To apply for financial aid, please do so by the April 15 deadline. The application can be found at www.dioceseofscranton.org/catholic-schools/apply-for-tuition-assistance/
As I said above, we know there are uncertain times ahead and some families may be impacted financially. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any tuition concerns as well as Mrs. Alicia Busch ( Alicia-Busch@dioceseofscranton.org), the tuition secretary for our system. I'm certain we can work together to keep our catholic education and particularly a Holy Cross education a reality for all of our families.
