The Summer Crusader Camp is a week-long enrichment camp that provides the opportunity for rising 6th through 9th grade students to pursue educational experiences that will enhance their love for lifelong learning. The collection of course offerings will allow the individual to explore different areas of interest, strengthen fundamentals, and to develop friendships and relationships with future high school classmates and faculty.
We'd love for you to experience some of what Holy Cross High School has to offer during our Summer Enrichment Crusader Camp. Our dedicated teachers are awaiting your arrival and excited to welcome you as a new member of the "Crusader Family."
Each student camper may register for up to three (3) courses. Cost per course is $50.

Do you love plot twists, secret clues, and solving puzzles? In Whodunnit? Mysteries in the ELA Classroom, students will step into the world of suspense, investigation, and storytelling.
This isn't just about reading - it's about solving and creating mysteries! Get ready to question every clue...because in this class, nothing is ever quite what it seems!
Come into the art room and work with relief printmaking techniques to create a beautiful series of functional artwork. Campers will work with this
centuries old medium to create print reproductions using tools, such as gougers, bench hooks, barrens, and Soft Kut block. Campers will have the opportunity to make bookmarks, cards, or stand alone prints to bring their drawings to life while learning the basics of this beautiful art process. All supplies will be provided.
Calling all young performers - we're putting a a 5 day play!
Day 1 - Crazy auditions - get to know your fellow actors while doing our "crazy auditions"
Day 2 - Read throughs and blocking on stage
Day 3 - Blocking & rehearsal
Day 4 - Rehearsal & Costumes
Day 5 - Our show with a cast part, of course!
If you’d like to go on a creative writing journey by expanding your imagination, a creative writing course might be for you. Each day, campers will focus on a
specific type of creative writing, options include:
poetry, screenwriting, fairy tales, and short story. Together, we can become more creative thinkers by using fiction and literary techniques to apply to writing in an interactive environment.
In this camp session, you’ll get the opportunity to participate in popular Holy Cross Phys. Ed. team and individual games. Activities include badminton, kickball, handball and more. There will be an emphasis on learning new sport skills as well as sportsmanship, teamwork, movement and taking accountability of our physical fitness while having fun at the same time.
Campers will explore stop motion and digital applications to create animations. We will explore concepts related to digital animation like frames per second and tweening to create animated .gif files and mini animations. Some aspects of character development might be addressed if time permits. All supplies and equipment will be provided.
Do you like games & puzzles? Try a different daily game with us! Play classic games such as Wordle and Connections, and discover a myriad of new games based on geography, history, grammar, and much more! Campers will work together to problem-solve puzzles and experiment with new ways to build and flex their knowledge far beyond the end of camp.
