    Christmas Cheer

    Spreading Christmas Cheer
Thank you Jamie Kotula Foundation for your donation!

Holy Cross High School partnered with the Diocesan Development office for the first annual First Friday Student Exhibit and Silent Art Auction. The event took place in November at the Diocese of Scranton Pastoral Center, downtown Scranton, in conjunction with Scranton’s First Friday art walk. Over 200 people attended the event and $5600 was raised for Holy Cross High School Tuition Assistance. Thirty local artists donated pieces of their work and every item was purchased or auctioned off throughout the night. Holy Cross High School art students participated in the event with a variety of mediums including paintings, sketches, mixed media, and also an instillation. The event was a huge success and we look forward to celebrating our talented students and local artists again next year.

In a special way, we would also like to thank Mr. and Mrs. John Kotula and the Jamie Kotula Foundation for their generous donation to the event. Their continued support of Holy Cross High School and especially this most recent donation is appreciated very much!

Tressler and the Catholic Schools Office, our chaplain Fr. Edwards, and Fr. Clarke.
